At IMK you will receive special food and drink discounts, get to talk to lots of interesting people, and have the chance to win some exciting door prizes.

November's Ichimokukai will feature a special prize during our raffle: 4 tickets to "We Are Little Zombies", the film we are co-sponsoring at the Reel Asian Film Festival this year. May 14th, 2019 - CJS Axe Throwing

Back by popular demand, CJS is having its 2nd Axe Throwing event. This is a sport somewhat sort of remotely similar to throwing darts in the sense you want to hit the bullseye, except instead of darts, it's with axes, so it's waaaay more fun!! 😜

BATL - Backyard Axe Throwing League is the original Backyard Axe Throwing League in Toronto. What started in a backyard in 2006, is now an 11-location operation all across North America. This CJS event will be held at the Toronto-East location at

33 Villiers Street (647-793-6410)
http://batlgrounds.com/axe-throwing-toronto-east/

Tues May 14, 2019
7pm - 9:30pm

BATL’s axe throwing events last 2 – 2.5 hours, and are led by coaches. The event will begin with approximately 30 minutes of practice on private targets before starting a group tournament to crown a champion.

Price will be $40.67 per person (tax included). Please RSVP by sending E-Transfer to sam@cjst.ca by May 6 @ 8pm. Use password: "canjapaxe".

Please note: Closed toe shoes are mandatory. Sandals and flip flops are not permitted. High heels are not recommended. Wearing a comfortable, loose fitting top that doesn't restrict arm or upper body movement is recommended. Lumberjack shirts recommended.
